Literacy Objectives: Yr 5 Term 1 WLW to investigate, collect and classify spelling patterns in pluralisation.
Description
This HyperStudio stack makes use of New Button Actions (NBAs) to demonstrate the pluralisation of different types of spelling. This could be used to demonstrate these spelling patterns and rules to a whole class either using a large monitor screen set up near the carpet area or a data projector and laptop. Clicking on the red box opens a card which gives examples of that type of spelling. Clicking on the adjacent green box reveals the spelling rule "Just as 's' " for example. Although most of the learning will come from discussions with the class, this is another way to present and revise this sometimes difficult topic.
