KS4 ICT Map(draft)

The KS4 draft map below indicates how pupils might continue todevelop their use of ICT in the context of NC subjects and GCSEcoursework. Linking particular software packages to subjects is notexclusive as some subjects will make use of a wider range than isindicated below. It is also anticipated that the majority of subjectteachers will use the Internet for research and e-mail forcommunication to support teaching and learning. The 'Finding thingsout' aspect at KS4 is different to KS3 in that it requires theanalysis of systems. It is anticipated that this would need to betaught by ICT specialists as part of a GCSE or equivalent course.
