WEEKLY BUDGET PROBLEM
1. Use the above layout as a guide to create your
own personal budget spreadsheet.
2. Program your budget with formulas for:
total daily spending
total spending per item
weekly total
amount left at the end of the week
3. Enter your own data for daily spending.
4. Make a graph of items and total spent on items.

5. Print the following:

your budget spreadsheet showing your formulas
your graph

6. Use your spreadsheet to help you find the money to buy
a birthday present for a friend at the end of the week. Keep a
record of how much the present costs and what values you change
to find the money.
7. Add an extra day (Sunday) to your budget. Check out that all
your formulas still work correctly by changing the data in your
cells and predicting the results. Keep a record of what you do.
Evaluation
8. Put your printouts in your ICT assessment folder
Write up an evaluation using the guidelines at the end of the
booklet.
